Theatrescue is an idea rooted in Pan's invitation by several NGOs to work with the survivors of natural disasters around the world. It involves providing training for our artists in our Theatre for Development methodology so that they are fully equipped to respond to the increasing demands for our work across the globe and to increase their professional expertise in the UK.  A series of fantastic introductory workshops about this work was run by Mojisola Adebayo, Adwoa-Shanti Dickson and John Martin to our artists.  They explored the history and context of this work, gaining an insight into Pan's working methodology in post traumatic environments through games and exercises for the body and voice, image theatre and the beginnings of Forum Theatre. We shall be developing this work for a wider group throughout the year.
