Pan has a 20 year history of working in collaboration with  organisations throughout India but its greatest achievement has been in establishing Vidya.  This slum-based theatre group uses interactive theatre to open debate around the issues which prevent slum-dwelling girls from achieving their potential.  Now 7 years old and entirely self sustaining it has performed to over a million people and has made real change in its Ahmedabad communities.
